Stress less over money matters

Ideas to make your money matters stress you less. 💰

We know sorting out your money matters can be boring and the source of so much stress. So we thought we’d put together a few tips for how to make financial management easier and less stressful.

1. Run your finances like a CFO– This means you need to have a plan of what you want to achieve in the next 2, 5 & 10 years and have clearly defined goals.

2. Get the team involved – If you live with your family or flat mates share your yearly and monthly goals with them and report back to them on how you’re tracking. It will keep you accountable and get them to buy- in and support the plan.

3. Plot the progress – If you can visually see your progress, you’re more likely to keep motivated. So set up a savings goal in your bank app or if your arty draw a financial goals tracker.

4. Budget – sounds simple but I bet many of you don’t have one. The easiest way to do this is by listing all your expenses and income. What’s left over is your disposable income. From here decide what your priorities are e.g saving, retirement, holidays, massages, dining out, living young free and wild and then decide how much $$ you will commit to each priority.✈️🏌🏼🥂

5. Set up separate accounts – once you have decided what your priorities are and the amounts you will allocate set up separate bank accounts to split your money into. For example, I have a tax account, holiday account, day to day expense account and savings account and I have automatic payments going to each, this way there is very little thinking I have to do each week to reach my goals.✅

6. Review your insurances, phone plans, mortgage rates at least once a year – it’s amazing how much you can save by ensuring these things still provide value for money and are the best fit for you.

6 Leadership Lessons You Can Learn From A Clydesdale

Uda was a proud stallion and the ultimate leader. He left lasting impressions on everyone he met, was the naughty colt tamer and a big presence with the gentlest soul. Every single horse chose him as their leader and not because he was aggressive or demanded it, but because he earned their respect. So I thought I would share with you some of the lessons I learnt watching his leadership approach.
